WHO ARE WE?
The Wisconsin Fire Service Administration Association (WFSAA) is an organization made up of administrative/executive assistants, secretaries, and other related support staff from fire departments throughout the state. We meet four times per year at different locations. The June meeting is normally held in conjunction with the Wisconsin State Fire Chiefs Association Annual Conference. You do NOT need to be a full time employee to be a member.
MEETING DATES
- March 13, 2024 – Dells-Delton Fire Department
- June 21, 2024 – Wisconsin Dells (Chief’s Conference)
- September 12, 2024 – Cancelled due to timing with Sixth Bugle Conference
- November 19, 2024 – Grand Chute Fire Department
OUR ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
- Meetings four times per year with an education session
- Establish and staff a vendor booth with promotional material at the Annual Fire Chief’s Convention
- Assist with registration of Chiefs and vendors at the Annual Fire Chief’s Convention
PURPOSE
- To provide a communication network for sharing unique ideas and concerns
- To provide educational and professional opportunities to our members
- To provide a means to learn more about interpersonal and intrapersonal dynamics
- To provide enhanced support to Wisconsin Fire Chiefs and fire service administrative professionals or related positions, in order that they might more effectively meet the goals and responsibilities of their position.
